Our client Visit Angola proudly makes history as the first Lusophone nation to welcome His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on an Apostolic Visit, from 18 to 21 April. This milestone marks not only a moment of deep spiritual significance, but also highlights Angola’s growing global presence as a destination of faith, culture, and connection. As emphasized by President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, this visit reflects the strong ties between Angola and the Holy See, while shining a spotlight on the nation’s extraordinary tourism potential. From breathtaking landscapes to rich cultural traditions and vibrant communities, Angola is opening its doors wider to the world. Pope Leo XIV recognises Africa as a “reservoir of hope,” with Angola standing out as a beacon of peaceful coexistence and cultural richness.
