KLEBER GROUP recognized at the World Media Festival 2026

We are proud to announce that our project “Abenteuer Angola – Der Weg ist das Ziel” (Adventure Angola – The Journey is the Destination), developed in collaboration with Seazen for our client Visit Angola, has been officially recognised at the WorldMediaFestivals 2026, securing at least a Silver Award or higher. The final results will be revealed on 7 May 2026.

 


 

The project presents Angola through immersive travel reportage, combining cultural insight, historical context and visual storytelling, and intentionally moves beyond mainstream tourism narratives to address a design- and culture-conscious audience. Created together with journalist Christina Leitner and photographer Justin Hession, and based on one of the first German-language press trips to Angola, the story highlights lesser-known regions and authentic everyday encounters. Distributed as a premium long-form feature across print and digital, and amplified through social media, podcast and live formats, the project achieved sustained reach, engagement and contextual depth. As CEO KLEBER GROUP, Julia Kleber, emphasises, strong destination communication today is not only about visibility, but about creating narratives that build relevance, trust and long-term connection.
